I posted this in a reply, but thought that I would make it a post, so everyone can see it…and know the straight dope, on how I got scammed

Sorry guys, issues with the developer…I really can’t go into at this time, fingers crossed everything works out…if not I will have to hire another guy…it will happen, but I can’t definitively say when, I have been looking at some live chat and forum plugins, I might try, if they work, it will at least give the ability to chat and hangout, until the developer does his shit, I’ll do my best, I tried implementing a donation page tonight, they make it look so simple in tutorial…but, again, I’m a slacker, I really only like creating content, not deciphering technical shit…it will all happen, I hope you all stick around for it…it will be crazy freaky cool chatting and shit!!! I really said shit a lot there, didn’t I?

Ok, I am going to give you the straight dope on the whole instant chat, forum debacle of getting scammed. If nothing else, it will make for an interesting read, I may turn it into a soap opera, or at least a Netflix limited series lol.

Also at this point, all I can do is laugh about it, as you know, I have decided to just be happy, no matter the circumstance. At this point I am beyond really caring about it. So the bottom line is, I think I got scammed. I’m not 100% sure yet, maybe 95%, but still hold out a glimmer of hope. Which after you read this you will probably snuff out.

Ok, now I want to work on my  puzzle…it makes me happy…Stay tuned, or not. I read the comments about leaving and finding another site, I think you totally should! I’m sure there are much better slacker sites out there than this, in fact I would be really shocked if there weren’t lol.

I will continue to post dumb shit, as it makes me happy. And if I did get scammed, I will get someone else to do it, or scam me, again lol.

I’m a slacker, I really don’t care…I’ll write more about it tomorrow, maybe…I don’t do plans…I just do whatever the fuck I want!!!! But I am evolving…I think

So as expected, I was totally scammed…they were supposed to refund the money by March the 10th, the 10th has came and gone. I don’t even get a response from one of the developers, who, actually did absolutely nothing.

The other one actually tries to blame it on me! that I got scammed! His arguments actually made me laugh. I said, “so how much money did you lose on this deal again?” “right, you lost nothing”, “I lost over a grand”, “oh right, it’s in your pocket, now I see where you be coming from dude, of course it’s totally my fault, that I got scammed, I stupidly listened to you.”

I told him he is very good at what he does, and congratulated him on a job well done. His only reply was, ok, lol.

I’m so over it now, even the embarrassment of it all, and my naivete. But I am The Evolving Slacker, I do dumb shit like this on regular basis lol, and somehow everything seems to work out ok, I’m not sure why, and I don’t want to pry, I don’t want to jinx it :).

I really don’t feel like going into it all right now. I will at some point. But I have a really nice developer working on the site…shit be coming, in the coming weeks.

So I’ve been in touch with a really nice developer from Calgary, and she has done up a very detailed quote for me. I found out about them, from someone on this site, not sure if they want to be named, so I won’t right now, but you will all know soon enough.

I wanted to accept right away, but after just being scammed for almost 1200 dollars. I decided to get some quotes from actual local developers in Vancouver. You know the kind, the one’s you can actually physically meet :), But I really like the one in Calgary, and I am doubting the ones in Vancouver, will beat her quote.

we be notoriously expensive here, for a variety of reasons, especially the scenery. I think a closet goes for a little over 2 mil, lol.

I will continue to tell the details of going down the rabbit hole of the scam. They were very good at it. at least it gives me a lot of material for posts. Maybe I will make it like a series, and write a post about it once a week :).

Latest update on being scammed

So, the developer from Calgary disappeared, and just so you know, she was recommended to me by a user on here named Tiffany. I stupidly trusted her, as I often do, so now to date I have been scammed out of around 2 grand. Just to get someone to implement a live chat.

Now I have to find another developer, and this time he’s going to have to be right beside me before anything happens.

I really don’t care about the 2 grand anymore, I have thrown away more on dumber things.

So hopefully, at some point, live chat will be realized. But this is a slacker page…so anything could happen.

I got side tracked, as I usually do. And spent the last couple of hours looking at pictures of Vancouver. You know when you see the perfect one, and you think. Oh, I’ll come back for it, and then you can never find it. That’s what I did lol.

But it’s hard to find a bad picture of Vancouver. It is surrounded by water, and beaches, and mountains. This one is at sunset it says.

Maybe I will do a full post on Vancouver, in one pic, I could actually see the building I live in!!! Anyway, will write more on the soap opera of getting scammed. It would really make a good limited series on Netflix I think, lol. Later slackers.
