The Evolving Slacker

It’s the challenge that makes it all worthwhile

It’s the challenge that makes it all worthwhile, wow, I must be evolving, if it was easy, it would be boring and stale, and definitely not rewarding. Don’t get me wrong, I try a lot of things and fail, at a lot of things, and it pisses me off, but don’t forget, I’m a slacker, it’s kinda part of the deal.

I’m a veracious reader, of every genre, my favorite is definitely redneck fiction, it just feels more real to me, I paint and sketch, write a lot, including songs, play guitar, and do jigsaw puzzles of rockstars.

I frame them up, I have a lot, I actually think I might open a rockstar jigsaw puzzle gallery/museum, or maybe have a showing at an existing one. I’m not sure if it’s been done before, it would be new and different, a little weird and odd, just like me.

If I saw an ad for that shit, I would be buying a ticket real quick! And I know I can’t be the only one.

I should write up a resume for an important job, and list these skills as my qualifications, just for fun. If I was the employer, and read a resume like that, after reading all the serious ones, I would laugh out loud, really hard.

I’d probably, circulate it to everyone, save it, frame it, and put it on the wall. Actually I would probably give this guy a call. And tell him he made me laugh, and also made my day, it’s now framed and hanging on the wall.

I would say, oh, thank you for the call, and I’m so glad it made you laugh and brightened your day, that’s what it was meant to do, I forgot to list it, but making people laugh may be my best skill of all.

I try, and fail, A LOT, but when it succeeds, it makes it all worth while, and thank you again for the call, oh and by the way, thanks for not hiring me, just incase you couldn’t tell, I didn’t want the job anyway.

I’m sure we’d both laugh a lot at that, and I’d end by saying, I’m a total slacker, but trying to evolve, thanks for calling and have a great day!!!
