Even if that is making jigsaw puzzles, of your favorite rock stars,

on an inflatable couch, and never going outdoors.

Or keeping vampire hours, because that’s what works for you,

going to bed at 6 in the morning and getting up at 4 in the afternoon.

Be weird, be different, be what is truly you.

 

We’re only here for a very short time,

don’t waste it doing something you don’t enjoy.

Buy oddly shaped electric guitars,

just to look at, because they bring you joy.

Or learn to play, and make some badass noise.

 

I always dreamed of being a slacker, and trying to evolve,

and of course, I never worked on it one bit, I am a slacker after all.

I’m pretty sure, that is how, my life, ended up like it is.

I’m not sure when it was, but at some point, 

I decided to be happy, even if what made 

me  happy, made me seem, very weird, or even odd

 

But I love my life, and always say that out loud,

when I wake up every afternoon, 

and laugh out loud, at all the weird shit I do. 

Just be happy, despite everything, it’s a choice,

like anger, sadness, worried or bored,

Pick happy, it’s funner than all of those.

Pick happy, and let your true self soar!!!

 

Being a slacker, making puzzles, and writing 

on this site, while watching a comedy special, 

and looking at my oddly shaped guitars.

Staying up all night, and sleeping all day,

makes me happy, and awesomely weird.

And I wouldn’t want, my life to be, any other way.

 

I would choose your path, 

no matter what it might be,

as long as it makes you happy,

it must be the right thing for you

But even if your in a place

that brings you no real joy.

Decide to be happy anyway, 

and move towards, the true real you.
