Did you really write that?

Did you really write that? I got asked that today, about my diatribe on the main page. They know me, and I can understand his question, because I don’t look like someone who would write that.

I often don’t know, or remember, exactly how I wrote it, but I told him I have written everything on this site. Most of it is pretty dumb, which is much more my style.

I like to be self deprecating, I have no serious bones in my body, I am not even sure I have bones…

But sometimes something comes over me, and I can write for hours, I like to tell the truth, and write what I am thinking, that was one of those moments….

I read veraciously, I think my favorite book is Herman Wouk’s Youngblood Hawk, because the protagonist struggles so much to become a writer and is always doubting he can….

I read that book in my early teens, and then again recently. It seemed much more depressing this time around. Still great! And I could see how it made me want to be a writer.

If I wasn’t such a slacker I actually might be able to write something…well, something lol…but alas I am a slacker…but I am evolving…so there’s that!

Does anyone really like jazz? Really? all those horns and stuff, I find it so annoying, just stop…….please!!!!
